How to play

The daily set

Every local midnight a new set of five objects is drawn from the pool — animals, landmarks, vehicles, spacecraft and everyday things. The draw is seeded by your calendar date, so players on the same day get the same five targets paired with the same references.

Resize, then commit

On the left of the stage is a reference silhouette at its true size. On the right is the target. Drag the stage, scroll, or use the slider to grow or shrink the target until the proportions look right. The control is logarithmic, so it covers everything from ants to Everest. When the target gets too big for the stage, the viewport zooms out and tells you by how much. Locking in draws the true size in red over your guess.

Scoring

Locking in converts your slider into an implied size. The closer to the truth, the more points:

Each round is worth up to 100 points, so a perfect day is 500 points. Twice as big and half as big are the same size of miss.

Practice sets

The practice button draws a random five-round set on the spot. It scores identically but never touches your daily result or streak — use it to calibrate your eye.

Streaks and storage

Finishing the daily set on consecutive local days builds your streak. Results and best scores are stored in localStorage on this device. There is no account, and the guesses stay on this device.
